1. Be Awesome To One Another
As the great Bill and Ted once requested, so shall we. Try to be good to one another as you play. Be mindful of your actions and your words. Remember at all times that this is for fun and that the point is to have fun. Respect, appreciation... all that jazz. Try to treat your fellow players like you'd want to be treated.

2. IC =/= OOC
Given that college can get a little touchy and that once you add supernatural powers and curses and ancient legacies, that's multiplied, it's deeply important that everyone keep in mind that IC actions do not reflect (and should not effect) OOC feelings. Also that IC feelings do not effect OOC feelings. Characters can, and should, have opinions and reactions that are not mirrored by the player and vice versa.

3. No Godmodding
There are going to be fights in this game, so this one is important. Everyone has their skills and their abilities, and the person who's going to know those best is going to be each individual player. If you're going to have an IC fight, we would encourage communication, but more importantly, we will insist that players do not godmode (or otherwise control another character's actions, reactions, etc) during these conflicts.

4. No Breaking the 4th Wall
While some characters in the game are going to be fandom AUs, these characters are being brought as if their life and their story is happening within the game world. As such, that canon would not exists so your character can't know about it. We would ask that players proxy such properties if your character would reference them ('kryptonite' would be 'cyanite' and 'Star Wars' would be 'Planet Battles', etc.) and adjust some of the plot/characters accordingly.

5. Warn Appropriately
Once something that is either NSFW or potentially triggering occurs within a thread, PLEASE make sure to mark it in the 'notes' of the posting or on the title of the tag wherein the content occurs/begins. Appropriate tagging of such subjects are for everyone's benefit; you never know when you might need a warning until it happens.

6. Make What You Need
No one's mentioned an airport so far? Make one. Even the smallest towns can have one, especially college towns. Need a business or a shop? Make one up! New places pop up and shut down all the time, and that's even discounting the witches, sorcerers, ancient orders of dark gods, and other madness going on in this world. If you've made something that you want to keep using or that you think other characters might enjoy using as well, feel free to drop by the 'Setting' post and leave a comment with some basic information and I'll get it added.
